The Sentinels (Nosferatu-Tzimisce) were crafted to serve as glorified housekeepers, keeping an eye on their masters' havens and areas of interest and protecting them from harm, which led to them focusing on Fortitude and keeping alert for any intruders. The Warriors (Gangrel- Tzimisce) were constructed to serve as front-line soldiers, destroying enemy vampires by focusing on Potence and combat abilities which enabled them to deal more damage to their foes. The Scouts ( Gangrel- Nosferatu) were made to observe the Tremere's enemies and to report any important information to their masters quickly and reliably, and would therefore focus on mastering the art of stealth and Flight. For the first several centuries after their creation, all their "powers" were in the form of rituals cast upon them by their Tremere masters, and during those early nights, the original gargoyles came into being only in three variants made to fill different roles for their Tremere masters.

6.8 and select the "basic" version, for minimal gameplay chamges.Įdited by Zanderat, 01 April 2010 - 02:55 AM.The bloodline was first created via Thaumaturgical ritual in 1167 (or 1121 according to other sources ). I wish that you could have Smiling Jack as a team member in Origins lol that would be a blast. If I remember correctly, one of the codexes talks about some hunger demons becoming vampires.įor a whole lot of reasons, stay far, far away from True-Patch. The only problem I had with the game is that the guns were extremely useless.Īnyways, Feraele, you should really patch the game up with the Tru-patch or whatever its called (its the only patch that fixes everything w/o adding stupid crap to the game).Īs for the gargoyle, I hated that punk because he didn't look kindly to my favorite clan. I mean in the hardest level in the game (the sewers) the Nosferatu are the best to use because of the abundant amount of rats, and no humans in site. Also, the Nosferatu are actually the easier clan to play as. I'm gonna have to play that game again some time. But whatever you do, don't start with the Nosferatu. Anyway, Tremere was pretty easy to live with, too. I found that raising physical attributes above one was pointless because a blood buff boosts them all to five regardless of how high they are to begin with. In the long run, you earn more xp and can buy more disciplines, abilities, etc. Why? Because high social attributes made it easier to get extra points, extra dialog options, and ultimately, extra advantages. Believe it or not, I found the Toreador to be the toughest at the end of the day. I played that game through with every clan. Only played it once, didn't like it.still own it however. I played the buggy version of that game and didn't realize there were mods that fixed it.
